2020 ESG Funding

The community is in the process of preparing its applications for Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) funding. ESG funding can be used for emergency shelters, rapid re-housing, homeless prevention, street outreach, and HMIS.

This funding opportunity was announced at the Continuum of Care (CoC) meetings the week of March 2nd, was distributed to the CoC listserv on March 10th by e-mail, and was discussed in a public webinar on March 11th.

The final deadline to turn in a complete, eligible Letter of Interest for this grant cycle is Thursday, March 26th at noon. If your Letter of Interest has not been received by this date, or if you did not amend your Letter of Interest to make it eligible, then you may be excluded from this year's competition.

Other 2020 Funding

The El Dorado Opportunity Knocks Continuum of Care is expecting funding from a variety of other sources, and is considering how to use this funding as part of its Strategic Planning Process. Some of these funding sources include HHAP, HEAP, CESH, the HUD CoC NOFA, and emergency funding that may be made available to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

To join the conversation on how to use these funding sources and to ensure that you receive timely notice of any new funding opportunities, please e-mail edc@homebaseccc.org and ask to be added to our listserv.
